K1 Speed Traverse City is Now Open!

We’re THRILLED to introduce K1 Speed Traverse City – our second location in the great state of Michigan!

K1 Speed Traverse City showcases the latest and greatest that K1 Speed has to offer! This includes our latest generation all-electric karts, a professionally designed one-of-a-kind track,  an exciting arcade with tons of video games and prize machines, a Paddock Lounge café, and two private event spaces for any party or special event.

Of course, people all over Greater Township County will flock to K1 Speed Traverse City for its authentic indoor kart racing experience. So naturally, they have the very latest go-karts that K1 Speed has to offer!

Adults and teens 4’10” or taller can drive the Superleggero karts. These karts can approach 45 miles per hour! And any young racing fans out there who are at least 48″ or taller can drive our Junior Kart that can go up to 20 miles per hour.

Like our other locations, K1 Speed Traverse City has a one-of-a-kind track layout! This track is professionally designed to challenge both first-timers and experienced racers alike!

The fun doesn’t end when the checkered flags flies at K1 Speed Traverse City. When you’re done racing, head over to their arcade which is stocked with tons of entertaining games. They’ve got arcade games (both the classics and new favorites), redemption games, prize machines, pool tables, and games-of-skill like basketball hoops!

The arcade is also perfect for anybody not interested in racing or who doesn’t meet our height requirements. This makes K1 Speed Traverse City fun for all ages!

When you’ve found your batteries are running low from wheel-to-wheel kart racing and setting high scores in the arcade, then make a pit stop over at the Paddock Lounge! This onsite eatery features tons of delicious food items from pizza and wings to BBQ brisket sliders and burgers!

And to wash it all down, they’ve got a wide variety of soft drinks, Red Bull energy drinks, and iced teas and water.

If you’ve been to an event at K1 Speed, you know we provide one of the best parties there is. That’s because we offer reserved race times, private racing with your group, race for position with your guests, and more!

And K1 Speed Traverse City has TWO private event spaces that are racing-themed and ready for any kind of celebration: from birthday parties for all ages to corporate events, company parties, retirement parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and any other special occasion!

So there you have it! Now that you know all about our new center, it’s time to visit! This location is now open seven days a week at the Cherryland Center Shopping Mall in Garfield Township where the old Sears location used to be. We’d love to see you at the track!
