The time has arrived! The doors of our newest location, K1 Speed Portland, have opened to the public! This is our 40th location to open in just 15 years – a remarkable achievement in the go-karting industry!
K1 Speed Portland is located in the town of Hillsboro, part of the Greater Portland Area. And with Portland being one of the world’s most environmentally-conscious cities, we know Portlanders are going to fall head over heels in love with our 100% electric go-karting experience.
Inside, you can expect the same thrilling go-karts you’ve come to know and love, plus this location will include a dozen of our EXTREMELY popular shifter karts! K1 Speed Portland also features a unique 11-turn track layout ONLY available at this particular location. Off track, we’ve got an exciting arcade with video games, pool tables, and air hockey, as well as our Paddock Lounge eatery that’ll serve you with some delicious food and refreshing beverages.
If you’re looking to host a birthday party or company party in Portland, you just have to have it here! We’ve got two private meeting rooms and available catering options to ensure you have a party your guests will be talking about for years to come.

What are the height and age requirements?

Hello Sandy,
Thank you for your interest in K1 Speed! Our junior karts require a minimum height of 48″ while our adult karts require a minimum height of 4’10” (58″). No age requirements, though our junior racers typically start to meet that height requirement around age 6. See you at the track!
