Win Up to $5,000** in the Quarterly K1RS Championship!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this unique competition in 2023! While we do not have plans to continue this quarterly championship in 2024, you never know if we’ll bring it back sometime in the future!

Special congrats to Joel Parham for making the Top 3 every single quarter – well done!!

If there’s something we know about our regulars, it’s that they LOVE the thrill of competition. That’s why our year-round K1RS Championship is always hotly contested by our most die-hard of racers. But what happens if your local K1 Speed center just opened during the year? You might have a ton of points to make up if you want to break into the Top 50 before the end of the year.

Well, we’re here to help. We’re introducing something all-new for 2023: a QUARTERLY K1RS Championship where you can win up to $5,000 PER QUARTER!

Congrats to Our 2023 Quarterly Winners!

Quarter 4, 2023 (October 1 – December 31)

  1. Aaron Geoulla | Burbank | 10,160 points

  3. Aaron Geoulla | Burbank | 6,514 points

*Note: points do not reflect the automatic 1200 K1RS points every racer starts with. Only the points scored from racing during the quarter.

What Is The K1RS Quarterly Championship?

The K1RS Quarterly Championship is like our year-round competition except broken into four (4) separate quarters.

These quarters are:

  • Q1: January 1st – March 31st
  • Q2: April 1st – June 30th
  • Q3: July 1st – September 30th
  • Q4: October 1st – December 31st

Every quarter, you’ll want to come into K1 Speed and try to score the most K1RS points you can during the three-month date range. Those that score the most points during the three months will win some amazing cash prizes (more about that later).

Then, once the quarter ends, our Quarterly Leaderboard will reset and everyone will start at scratch once again to try to get the most points during the next three months. There is no carryover of points in this Quarterly Championship. So if you’re just starting out at K1 Speed and a new quarter is about to begin, you have the same chance as anyone else to win the top prize.

What Are The Cash Prizes?

The top three that score the most points in each quarter will win huge cash prizes**:

  • First Place: $5,000
  • Second Place: $3,000
  • Third Place: $2,000

And here’s the best part: you can try to win EVERY QUARTER for your chance at winning up to $20,000 for the year! And if you’re lucky enough to win every quarter, that means you’ll probably also win our International K1RS Top 50 Championship where we’re giving away $10,000 for first place! That’s up to $30,000 up for grabs – just for racing at K1 Speed!!

What if There’s a Tie?

Moving forward (Q3 and Q4) there will be only one person in first, one person in second, and one person in third. If there is a tie in points between racers, then we will use tie-breakers to separate the positions.

The first tie-breaker will be based on how many races were entered. The driver with the most races entered during the quarter period will break the tie. If there is still a tie, then the racer who has the most wins (fastest single lap of all arrive & drive race participants) will end up on top. If racers are STILL tied – then we will determine another way to break the tie. So bottom line – try to be on your own, everyone. Much easier that way!

How You Can Enter

Entering our Quarterly K1RS Championship is as easy as racing at K1 Speed – that’s because that’s ALL you have to do! Simply visit your K1 Speed*, race plenty, and earn lots of points.

How To Score K1RS Points

Every time you race at K1 Speed, you’ll earn K1RS points. Here’s how:

You’ll get two points…

  • for every race entered
  • for every racer you beat
  • if you scored the fastest single lap time of the race
  • if you got the fastest average lap time of the race

And remember, you’ll earn DOUBLE K1RS points ONLY on Mondays at K1 Speed!

*The following centers are currently not participating in this promotion: Bend, Canóvanas,  Mississauga, Myrtle Beach, and Toronto

**All prize winnings are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes as required by law. It is your responsibility to report your winnings to the appropriate tax authorities. We may be required by law to report winnings to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or other relevant tax authorities, and as such, we may ask you to provide your Social Security Number or taxpayer identification number (TIN) on a W-9 form to facilitate this reporting. Please be aware that your participation in this contest/event implies your understanding and acceptance of these terms related to tax liability, reporting, and the submission of a W-9 form if required.
