A Complete Track Day
K1 Speed is a premier indoor entertainment center located in Jessup for guests throughout Howard County and the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Off US-1, near Whitehurst and Savage, this Baltimore racing center is perfect for both new and skilled drivers of all ages (at least 48 inches tall). Beyond the tracks, our Jessup 276-person max-capacity location is a comprehensive venue designed to provide a full day of fun.
Adult Track
For guests at least 58 inches tall and the larger of the two tracks at Jessup, the Adult Track has a couple of straight sections that set up well for overtaking into the following turns. The lap begins with a slight right-hander, followed by a brief straight. From there, racers make a harder right than the first into a long straight. At the end of the straight, make sure to hug the right barrier, and you’ll be set up nicely for the alternating hairpins to come. Maintaining speed through this section of track is vital for a good lap time. A couple more turns and one double apex later, and you’ll be racing across the finish line, ready to put down an even faster time.
Junior Track
For guests at least 48 inches tall, the Junior Track is great for technique-minded racers and for learning the ropes of indoor go-kart racing. Featuring sweeping lefts and rights, a hairpin, and a right-hand double apex, this layout is made for fast, decisive racing. Pro Tip: Exit late out of Turn 4, using the entire track for one large turn approaching Turn 5.
Howard County’s Go-To Arcade
The attractions at K1 Speed in Jessup extend well beyond the racetrack into a vibrant zone of games and skill-based challenges. Inside the facility, our 13-game arcade presents a curated mix of the newest video games and compelling classics with titles like Candy Crane House, NBA Hoops, Stacker, Quad Air Hockey, and more. It’s the perfect way to extend the day’s excitement while allowing friendly competition to thrive, making it a go-to spot for things to do in Jessup.
