FAQs
Why are Sessions Only 8 Laps?
Racers will be driving on a unique one-off track layout that is much longer than a typical K1 Speed track, so we have slightly shortened the length of each session.
Where should I stay?
K1 Speed Ontario is located in Ontario, California: 5350 Ontario Mills Pkwy, Ontario, CA 91764. Plenty of accommodations can be found in Ontario itself, as well as the nearby cities of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Fontana.
When Do I Check In and Pay?
You will pay and check-in the same day as the United States Championship, on Saturday, April 13th, between 7am and 8am.
Prior to arriving on Saturday morning, please check-in here.
NOTE: Please check-in the day of the event only. Any early check-ins done prior to that Saturday will not count. For instance, if you check in the Friday before, you will need to check-in again on Saturday.
What do racers need to wear? Do I need to bring my own race gear?
Junior racers only need to wear what they typically wear at K1 Speed: closed-toe shoes w/ socks, long hair tied up, DOT-approved helmet (provided), and headsock (provided).
Optional gear such as suits, gloves, neck protection, rib protectors, etc. can be used but is not required.
