Arrive and Drive Racing
We offer a number of indoor go kart racing packages at our Houston location. Of the race packages that we offer at K1 Speed’s nationwide locations, our Arrive and Drive racing package has historically been most popular. Our Arrive and Drive racing package essentially is an open track; individuals looking to race against friends, family, co-workers, or simply the clock, can come in at any time of day (excluding during private closures). Drivers are then put into a race with the winner being determined by the fastest lap time. Novice and experienced racers alike can enjoy heated competition and put the pedal to the metal!

We had to make a last minute pivot for my son's birthday party, and K1 Speed came through for us. I submitted my request online through the website and was contacted the next morning by Lupe Salcast from the main office in California. She clearly explained all of my options and was able to reserve the day/time that I needed. Because the guest list was fluid at this point, she recommended guaranteeing the 8 racer minimum, and we could add any additional guests when we settled the bill at the end of the party.The confirmation notice included a link to the online checkin/registration page, which was very convenient for all of our guests' parents, since they could then just drop them off without having to come inside. Checkin was easy as they arrived, and we were set for the first race shortly afterwards.We had a room reserved where we could set up while the races were going on, and the staff had set up the tables and chairs for us with table cloths and plates/napkins/utensils already on the tables. We opted for the pizza and wings for the food, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Big thumbs up there!The facility itself is very clean, and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. One of our guests had never driven go-karts before and was a bit nervous, but they set his mind at ease during the pre-race briefing. He ended up coming in 4th overall!The go-karts are electric, and they have two types -- one for younger kids and one for adults. They are pretty fast, but without the gas smell or noise of ICE go-karts. In the event of a spinout or crash, they can remotely limit the speed of the cars to enforce the Yellow flag and ensure the safety of everyone on the track. It's a nice setup.At the end of the race, they announced the results and the Top 3 racers were put on the podium, awarded medals, and provided photo opportunities. The only thing missing was the huge bottles of champagne to spray on everyone!My son and all of his guests had a great time. We had no issues the whole time we were there, and the staff even gave us a little extra time in the room since there wasn't a party immediately following us. I highly recommend K1 Speed!

Great facility, and wonderful staff! Came in town from San Antonio for the day, and wanted to check out another track. Couldn’t recommend a better place to spend a few hours. See yall soon!

We were in town for my son's birthday and he looked this place up on Google and decided he wanted to go. From the moment we got there we were greeted with smiles and all the staff was ready and willing to help. Our check in process was quick and easy. Eventhough I had been to a facility like this before my home state, I still had to participate in the first time drivers training. Emerson(the manager)ended up being our cashier and he was great! He told us how my son qualified for free race because it was his birthday(who knew?) And Emerson also recognized my husband for being in the military(which kindly allowed us done savings on our bill). But the prices were still pretty good beforehand. I loved the way they display your driving record on a big screen and give you a really cool color printout of your race and your standing with others at the end. Overall,it was a great experience and if I'm ever in Houston again, I will definitely return!

Absolutely a wonderful facility! The staff are knowledgeable in all types of racing, very friendly (makes me wonder if some could've had Canadian heritage in them), very clean and an overall excellent atmosphere. They also have arcades, massage chairs, pool tables, party rooms, drinks and food. You literally can spend the day at this amazing event - I would not hesitate to visit again. I was so excited that I looked up our local Edmonton go-kart racing facility and have told our office team (and my husband) that I want to plan to go - I am so stoked and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you K1 Speed for an excellent time!
