Recap: 2015 NAPA Cup presented by NAPA Auto Parts

What a fun night at the 4th Annual NAPA Cup on the island of Oahu. Comedian and guest M.C, Augie T, was on hand to not only make the locals laugh but announce the race finals with NHRA Superstar Ron Capps and 10 of the island’s fastest racers.

 

The top 10 were narrowed down to 3 to battle Ron in the final. Ron is used to going over 300 mph on a straight away so this will be a little different for him.

 

Ron held his own out there on our track but crowned Thomas Merriman the 2015 NAPA Cup winner with a blistering lap time of 17.929.
